Returns & Refund Policy

At DKM Publishing Australia, we are committed to delivering quality publications and providing excellent customer service. This policy explains how returns, replacements and refunds are handled for purchases made through our website.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where possible.

Once reviewed, we will arrange an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • Replacement of the item.
  • A full refund.
  • Another suitable resolution in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind

If you change your mind after receiving your order, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • Returned with all original packaging where applicable.
  • Suitable for resale.

Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Signed or personalised books, unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly.
  • Digital products or downloadable content once accessed or downloaded.
  • Items damaged through misuse, neglect or accidental damage after delivery.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your financial institution.

Return Shipping

Where a return is required because we supplied an incorrect, damaged or faulty item, DKM Publishing Australia will work with you to provide an appropriate solution, including replacement or reimbursement of reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage and should use a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
